Introduction:The module on proposal preparation is meant to support participants to the training course on H2020, to move from their project concept ideas to the formulation of successful H2020 project proposals. The trainer will start by making some general consideration to make participants more acquainted with EU’s H2020 proposal development, by clarifying eligibility criteria for the different programs (on the basis of the specific needs and interest of participants in certain specific H2020 programs)

Training Methodology:With respect to the didactical approach adopted, the trainer will divide the class of participants into small groups that will work together to put into practice the first steps of proposal development under H2020. These steps include the careful and proper analysis of the call for proposal (and the specific guidelines for the different H2020 programs); the formulation of the general and specific objectives of the project proposal, the division of roles among the different project partners of the consortium, partnership that, in most H2020 programs, is required to be eligible to respond to the call for proposals.
Objectives of the Training:At the end of the course, participants will become much familiar with H2020 funding mechanisms and able to take the maximum advantage of H2020 funding opportunities. Participants will create or strengthen their competencies in building a balanced project proposal budget and design successful project proposals to respond to H2020 EU call for proposals.
